Outdoor goods
Stabilized spotting scopes
Gentle designs outdoor optical products for field use, where steadiness, ergonomics and weather protection decide whether a product earns trust. With Kite Optics we shaped the APC 60 ED, a handheld stabilized spotting scope built for clear viewing in demanding outdoor conditions.
This industrial design work balances premium optical performance with a rugged outdoor product language, a core part of Gentle’s active markets in outdoor product development.
Stabelized binoculars
High end spotting scopes need industrial design that protects fragile optics while staying usable on tripods and in the field. On the APC 80 HD programme with Kite Optics, Gentle supported the path from optical prototype toward a production ready flagship.
It sits in the same outdoor optics active markets as our binoculars and stabilized scope work: precision products for nature observation and professional outdoor use.
Binoculars
Stabilized binoculars sit at the intersection of optical engineering and handheld product design. Gentle developed APC binoculars with Kite Optics for steady outdoor viewing without sacrificing comfort on long sessions.
For brands in outdoor leisure and observation active markets, this kind of industrial design work turns advanced optics into products people actually carry and use.
Outdoor living
Patio heating
Outdoor living products must ship efficiently, store easily and still feel solid on a terrace. Gentle designed a cost optimized patio heater for Wellife Furnace Co., focused on manufacturability and retail logistics for US and EU markets.
This is industrial design for high volume outdoor consumer goods, one of our active markets: heating, comfort and seasonal use outdoors.
Garden furniture
Urban outdoor living often means balconies and compact interiors rather than gardens. With Urbn Livng, Gentle designed Urbn Gardn furniture that brings gardening rituals into small city homes.
The project sits in home, interior and outdoor lifestyle active markets where furniture design and product design overlap.
Table top BBQ’s
Outdoor living products must ship efficiently, store easily and still feel solid on a terrace. Gentle designed a cost optimized patio heater for Wellife Furnace Co., focused on manufacturability and retail logistics for US and EU markets.
This is industrial design for high volume outdoor consumer goods, one of our active markets: heating, comfort and seasonal use outdoors.
Industrial applications
Industrial tools & applications
Design for industrial-used products prioritizes extreme durability, reliability, and safety above all else. The focus is on creating equipment and tools that can withstand harsh operating environments, are highly functional and ergonomic for the operator, and are simple to maintain and service to minimize costly downtime. Compliance with strict industry standards is a key non-negotiable factor.
Health & care
Loop dynamic earplugs
Health device design demands comfort, trust and precise mechanics in a tiny wearable package. Gentle explored a dynamic noise control concept with Loop Earplugs, integrating moving internals without losing the brand’s distinctive character.
It is a clear example of Gentle’s work in health and care active markets: wearables that people keep in their daily routine.
Luxury goods
Straight razor
Luxury product design lives on craft cues, balance and ritual. Gentle redesigned a traditional straight razor typology for Dovo Solingen, refreshing handling and form while respecting the heritage of Solingen steel.
For luxury brands, we translate exclusivity into tangible product language: materials, proportion and everyday ceremony.
Classic race watches
Luxury watches sit in a market where storytelling and precision detailing carry equal weight. Gentle explored race inspired watch concepts drawing on endurance motorsport DNA, translating long tail aerodynamics into contemporary timepieces.
This luxury goods work is one of the active markets that complements our broader industrial design practice for niche, high consideration products.

Public space
Public bins
Public space product design has to survive weather, servicing and heavy use. With André, Gentle designed the R2 Bin using recycled and recyclable materials for demanding street environments.
Circular materials stay visible in the product while emptying and maintenance remain practical for cities and operators.
Consumer goods
Toy design
Toy design and consumer goods need play value, safety and manufacturable honesty. Gentle updated classic metal farm toys with Kovap, refining proportion while keeping the brand’s mechanical character.
It is consumer product design in one of our active markets where heritage manufacturing and contemporary play meet.
Leisure mobility
Group pedal cars
Leisure mobility along coasts and parks is a growing part of our active markets. Gentle designed the Park Series modular pedal car platform with The Driveway Club, a system approach for rental operators rather than a single vehicle.
Industrial design here serves both rider experience and the business model behind coastal micro mobility.
Rental pedal cars
Rental fleets need durable products that still feel like leisure. Gentle designed Series 01 pedal cars with The Driveway Club for high use Belgian coastal rental, combining seaside heritage character with modern rental readiness.
Together with Park Series, it shows Gentle’s depth in leisure mobility active markets and startup product development.
Soft Goods & Luggage
Travel luggage
Designing travel luggage means understanding the diverse ways people move. From business travelers navigating airports with spinner cases, to families loading cars, commuters boarding trains, or adventurers crossing uneven streets and stations, every journey places different demands on a product. As designers, we balance maneuverability, stability, durability, weight, and packing efficiency to create luggage that adapts to multiple user profiles and modes of transport while delivering an intuitive and seamless travel experience.
Bags & Soft goods
Brand & research
Packaging & labels
Packaging and label design extend far beyond aesthetics they shape the first interaction between a brand and its user. As a designer, I create packaging that communicates brand identity, protects the product throughout the supply chain, complies with (EU) regulations, and enhances the unboxing experience. Every material, graphic, and structural detail is considered to balance functionality, sustainability, manufacturing efficiency, and shelf impact.
Brand identity & Experience
Not every market brief starts as a physical product. Gentle redesigned the Flandria brand identity for Antwerp’s long running boat tours: logo, flag language and expression for a heritage tourism brand.
Brand identity work sits alongside our industrial design practice across active markets when organisations need a clearer face for their offer.
Form and value perception handbook
Strategic design markets also need shared language. With Howest, Gentle developed a form and value perception handbook: research tools that help teams discuss how formal language influences perceived product value.
It supports clients who want design decisions grounded in perception research, not only aesthetics.
