Shaping a dynamic noise control aid
The challenge was to translate Loop’s distinctive product DNA into a highly compact device with moving internal components—without compromising usability or comfort. Key constraints included extremely limited size, universal ergonomic fit, and the need for intuitive, on-the-fly adjustment within the ear.
In close collaboration with Loop’s R&D team, we worked at the intersection of design and engineering to develop a solution that performs reliably at a micro scale. Insights from audiologists, engineers, and users informed an iterative process focused on precision, comfort, and ease of use.
The result is a refined product that seamlessly integrates mechanical complexity into a minimal form allowing users to adjust their experience instinctively, while staying true to Loop’s recognizable design language.
Redefining noise control
The result is the Loop Switch, a product that sets a new standard in dynamic hearing solutions by elevating both user experience and accessibility.
Developed through a rigorous, detail-driven process, the design integrates advanced technology with a deep understanding of user needs. Every aspect from interaction to form factor—was carefully refined to deliver intuitive use, reliability, and comfort.
The Loop Switch stands as a benchmark for design excellence in hearing technology, demonstrating how precision engineering and human-centred design can come together to create meaningful innovation.
At its core, the Loop Switch embodies versatility and adaptability. Its iconic design seamlessly integrates into the user’s noise reduction, offering unparalleled comfort and technology.
Unlike conventional noise control aids, the Loop Switch operates on a dynamic framework, adjusting intelligently to varying environmental conditions and user preferences.
